VALENTINE POEM
Valentine Poem:
HEY! ANOTHER VALENTINE!
An age long longing
A genuine conviction
Bathed in the water of the
spirit
Flowing on the table of
the soul
Across ages, races and faces
Dead yet undying
In the abode
Of the Mother-Earth
Bad!
Sad!
Not a fad!
Indeed excruciating!
Oh Valentinus!
How brutally treated
In the cruel theater
Of the callous Claudius
Christened by majority,
“saint”
After his conviction
Unwavering!
Resolute!
Giving no dam
To fight the fight
And right the wrongs
Great Valentinus!
Claudius the Great!
Claudius the callous!
Adorned in elegance
Wrapped in awe
The awe of tyranny
With armaments of cruelty
Wrestling with agape
For a romance with paganism
Love in the air
Oh Agape
In days gone by
True, divine
But now
Echoes of Lust
Embellishment of Affection
In the shrine of eros
Mingled and Tangled
In a hash and rash tempo
On the carpets of
infatuation
Singing the hymns
Valentine!
Valentine!!
What a Love!
Criminal Love!
Hey! Another Valentine!
Echoes resounding
In the usual adumbration
Gifts and gifts
Wrapped in the euphoria
Of celebration and jubilation
What a love!
Dangerous love!
Gifts and gifts
Wishes and wishes
Of celebration and jubilation
What a love!
Dangerous love!
Gifts and gifts
Wishes and wishes
Not minding the gift of
life
Nor the aftermath thereof
The scars! The regrets!
Of untold pains
In the garments of gains
Where lust reigns
The scars! The regrets!
Of untold pains
In the garments of gains
Where lust reigns
Be wise! Be nice!!
